Don't Believe The Truth is far superior to the latest one.

They put tunes ahead of anything else in DBTT and on listening to it again, it has them in abundance, with only 2 skip tracks (Mucky Fingers and the Velvet Underground rip-off).

It seems to me like they said "RIGHT LET'S MAKE A PSYCHEDELIC RECORD" for the newest album. But they don't have the guts to go all-out tripilicious, because they know full well that stadiums aren't filled by psych fans.
