I don't think there's been a thread about them in all the time I've been on this site.

They pretty much made my teenage years - no pet I've owned since the age of 14 has escaped being named after one of them (even Richie Ramone has had a manky budgie named after him).

It makes me sad that the main 3 all died within a few years of each other - Johnny Ramone was one of the people I used to include in a theoretical list of people you'd most like to meet.

Anyway, IMO the most conceptually perfect band ever.
