after reading quite a bit on here recently i wondered what other people think ...

i myself have played in a "serious we would like to actually do this " band for 5 years, and still finding it increasingly hard work to get any real headway from labels, PR, radio, etc.. as an unsigned / new act what do people think are the best ways to approach this ever changing shit storm?
