Having been to many an ATP before, you get the odd weekend when you get a good mix of stuff but quite often they lack variety due to the organiser very much being part of a scene. And whilst the line up interests me greatly in parts, a few of my friends are concerned it lacks the 'fun factor' and are not convinced about coming.

Does anyone else think this weekend is lacking some more upbeat electronic / pop / hip hop acts when compared to The Breeders one or previous years?

I just remember how terribly samey the Slint & Autechre ones were...
