Why is the BBC 'sound of 2009' so lame?

micromegas [Edit] [Delete] 10:10, 11 January '09

Just how can 130+ UK music tastemakers compile what is in fact a list of 15 recycled 80's POP (with the exception of one dull NuFolk act)?

Why did these powerful and ironic haired 'tastemakers' feel the need to highlight the fact that they manufacture a great deal of the bad tatse that sours DIS/NME/Time Out/The Guardian etc?
