The new album's reviews have intrigued me- people describing it as dustblown mariachi influenced southern sounding americana. Which I kinda like- Ry Cooder, Earth etc...

Is it worth buying, or is it really rubbish in that faux-ethnic Beirut kinda way? (by which I mean, are there too many horns and fiddles) If not, where should I start?
