...it's not the end of the world.

I get really annoyed when people come on here and moan about how an album/band they don't like is getting good reviews, praise, end of year list placement etc.

If your opinion differs to others it's ok, you'll be fine. Don't get scared that the press and people you turn to for affirmation of your taste disagree with you, it's bound to happen now and again.

Using music press/reviews/lists to confirm your taste in music is nothing but an exercise in vanity. If that's your approach and you read something you don't agree with then please don't whine about it, you fickle lemming f@uk.
