I was so bored at work yesterday I must have spent a good 6 hours on DiS, on and off, reading reviews, trawling through the forum etc, and it got me thinking:

What is it that makes us do it? What is it that sets us, DiS users, apart from others who see music as simply a pleasant distraction, just something to have on in the background? There must be something/ some things we have in common that make us all so prone to near-obsession (or actual obsession in some cases) with music and all music related activities.

Are we more or less intelligent than the populous? more artistic? analytical? ugly? pretty? tall? short? introvert? extrovert?

Put simply - what sets the 6music people apart from radio 1?
