Wale - The Mixtape About Nothing
Was put onto this a week or so ago by a friend of mine and I'm getting pretty obsessed with it. Amazing lyricism, wit and concepts, although his flow's a little jacked from lil wayne's I reckon. The mixtape is Seinfeld themed (the sitcom about nothing) full of samples and songs based off episode concepts. The first track samples the Seinfeld theme tune and starts every verse with "Uh.. What's the deal with.." and its pretty hilarious. Great track with the Micheal Richards "nigger" outburst, the whole thing's incredibly intelligent with really good self awareness (the track titles also parody Seinfeld's, one of them's called The Cliche Lil Wayne Feature (It's The Remix Baby!)). General good times, you can grab it here, its excellent.
