I think I might like this LP more than Meat Puppets II. It's such a wonderful weekend record, y'know?

Nice and fuzzy warm sounding southern rock - Roof With A Hole is maybe as good to sing along to as Lake of Fire, Flaming Heart sounds like CCR or something. And Backwater and Violet Eyes both have some rippin' solos. My favourite is Things, purely for the bad lyrics:

"Things we must no do, must not walk through walls, also also don't, do some things we did"

It's like Curt started writing himself a to-do list and then the drugs hit and he forgot how to use words.

Meat Puppets yeah? Still good when they started doing the druqz. And Cris looks like a batshit insane Mike Patton starring in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.
