Albums are wrecked if a track skips, aren't they?

theguywithnousername [Edit] [Delete] 23:51, 1 February '09

Over the weekend I've put several albums on my MP3 player including 2 of my favourite albums of all time - Suede's Dog Man Star and Elliott Smith's From a Basement on a Hill. On both of these two something went wrong - on the first Introducing the Band skips no matter how many times I've uploaded it and on Basement on the later Strung Out Again (and to a lesser extent Fond Farewell) skip.

Now it's not just me is it? This skipping doesn't ruin one song but makes the entire albums (both of which I really like) unlistenable doesn't it? I can't be alone in not being able to enjoy an entire album if one song has a flaw on the recording...
