Genres

Mehodor [Edit] [Delete] 23:25, 3 February '09

I hear a lot of moaning about genres whenever someone mentions what genre a band are for information purposes. "Oh just appreciate it for the music, it doesn't matter what genre you think they" is what you will hear in a typical disagreement about what genre a band are. Look I'm sorry you communist, but genres exist for a reason. They're there so you can understand what type of music they play without listening to them extensively. They're helpful. They're efficient. 'Ok, that's fine, it's just the sub-genres I don't care for' you say? Fuck that. They differentiate sound within a genre. Jazzstep, Jump-Up, Liquid funk, Neurofunk, all sub-genres of drum and bass. All sound totally different. Stop your whining, dirtbags.
