Big loud bits that make you go a bit funny in songs are brilliant. I love nothing more than walking along listening to my iPod, the song reaching some massive adrenaline-pumping crescendo, and feeling a bit weird but also great, although I know that I'm probably pulling some kind of funny face and scaring passers-by.

I'm thinking of bits like the bit at the end of Only in Dreams by Weezer, or the bit in Sad and Lonely by the Secret Machines where he goes WHEN IT FEELS LIKE THOSE AROUND WANT YOU TO DIE, and it really does sound like slabs of heavy metal falling from the sky, like what that journalist chap said ages ago, I think.

I don't tend to listen to big loud guitar music very much, so maybe that's why I get so affected by these things.

Anyway, what are some of YOUR favourite big loud bits in songs, so that I may listen to them tomorrow, or possibly at a later date?
