Do you have bands which took over your life at the time but you barely even think about now?

For me the biggest example is probably the white stripes, and tonight I've made an effort to revisit De Stijl and the self-titled debut, they both blew me away, especially the latter.

Can you still relate to old favourites or are they consigned to history?
