It's fucking brilliant, if only for one moment. The Get Up Kids doing 'Close To Me' is actually the best musical moment of the year so far, by about eight million miles. It starts like Hey Mickey, then the drummer sounds like he falls through the studio door, and then the emo long drawn-out 'asleep to-daaaaaaaaaaa-ay-ay-ay' is the most grin-inducing moment of the year since that good episode of Come Dine With Me the other week.

The Dandy Warhols version of Primary is quality as well. Also, who are The Big Pink? Their go at Love Song is pretty cool. Even if not a lot happens.

Granted, Mystery Jets and Esser battle with Get Cape to see who can ruin In Between Days the most and both end up losing. Or winning. Depending on your point of view; Lostprophets sound like they recorded their song in a bin and Marmaduke Duke's drummer is far too excited throughout Friday I'm In Love. But it was more than worth listening to.

I'm now listening to the Get Up Kids song on repeat. Shame I hate their own stuff really.
