Gotta say I was really disappointed by this. I think it was the new album, the new songs just paled into comparison to the stuff they played from their debut (which wasn't that much either). In the end though this carried through to the crowd, including myself, who just couldn't muster any enthusiasm whatsoever. This was then noticably affecting the band who tries to encourage some noise but to no avail. All in all a bit of a disaster! Shame as this ticket was a birthday present.

The silver lining though? Chew Lips! Haven't heard anything by them before but thought they were brilliant, electropop in the vein of some Hot Chip but with a singer reminding me of Karen O. I got a signed copy of their debut single and some lip balm, nice. Tigs seemed a bit confused as me suggesting the lip balm would come in useful seen as though it was cold outside but she eventually caught on ;-) Will definitely be watching out for them.
