Is this the equivalent of DiS "crossing over"? Obviously for a lot of you this is really obvious advice but hopefully for the average Sunday Times readers this is helpful.

The column is rotated between 3 contributors, so I'm doing something again in 3 weeks... what should I do the next one about? I was thinking something about bands either having this peak of attention within 6months of their first demo or percolating in niches for 5-10 albums before garnering significant attention (M.Ward, Animal Collective, etc...) or something else, they ask that it's topical...
