I'm just off for the night but for anyone who might know I'm looking to get a basic but good sound recorder for some field recordings. Nothing too fancy but still good, reliable and portable. I've heard that the Edirol R-09 is pretty mcuh the best thing you can buy? I'm trying to get one on the cheap on ebay, see round £100, but don't think I'll be lucky. Any other recommednations of recorders i could get?
