BILLY CORGAN is the last Pumpkin standing - his SMASHING PUMPKINS bandmate JIMMY CHAMBERLIN has quit the group.

A statement from the group's management reads, "Corgan will continue to write and record as Smashing Pumpkins with plans to head into the studio this spring."
