Revisiting Grunge

IanJ [Edit] [Delete] 10:34, 24 March '09

I was in my early teens in the early 90's and was getting into music when the Seattle scene got a lot of publicity here in the UK - hence I was exposed to and loved a lot of the bands from that time. I've recently been revisiting many of the albums that I loved in my formative years and am really enjoying many of them, especially Soundgarden's Superunknown.

It's a bit of a nostalgia trip but it's also really interesting to go back to these records with a different musical perspective, the result of the intervening years' musical exploration. Anyone else been doing this? An unfortunate byproduct is that it makes you feel a bit old!!! heh.
