There's alot of music and bands that you don't really get excited about, but still listen to alot, right? I find myself listening to some bands alot though they would never spring to my mind when thinking about my favourite records of the year etc.
my friend uses the word "listenability" of these acts that are by no means mindblowing but very functional. Not quite grabbing but not quite backround music either.
I wonder if it's a compliment or not...

The Pains of Being Pure At Heart (there was a thread about this were people being really raving. My first response was that it's really mediocre, but then I realized I've been listening to this more often than some other bands I might be more excited about. hah)
