i'm no mathametitian (cant even spell it) but it seems that tickets prices (festivals in particular) have been going up way beyond inflation in recent years. it was the day-pass Reading prices that did it for me. £85ish quid. thats £50 more than i payed in 2003. more than double in 6 years? The O2 arena is pretty reasonable these days too...

how long till people just give up and not go to gigs anymore? will you just keep paying what they ask?
