South Park Gardens Music Festival is an exciting free event taking place in South Park Gardens, Wimbledon on Saturday, 4th July, 2009. This is the first time the site has held a music festival, so expect a lot of surprises!

Performers at the festival will be made up entirely of young people: bands, singers, rappers ... in fact, any kind of musical performers under the age of 22, who live in Wimbledon, or have a strong connection with the area.

We are looking for bands and solo artists to play at the Festival!

Applications will be judged not on the quality of your recorded music, but on the songs and musicianship. The judging panel includes Xfm DJ John Kennedy, a passionate supporter of new music.

John will also be compering at the event, so it promises to be a great opportunity for young musicians to be heard by the best talent-spotter in the business!
