Friendly Fires Gig @ UEA Norwich

The_Drop [Edit] [Delete] 13:29, 30 April '09

I went to the above gig last night and was very impressed!!!

But why oh why are we reverting back to the fookin 80's? The support bands Boy Crisis and Hockey were truly shite!! The 80's was a shite decade for music/fashion/economy and to see support bands as bad as those two just re-confirms it. I heard the "Too Fake" single a few weeks back and thought it wasnt bad but live, well it was a pile of wank! And to think these bands have record deals!

The only redeeming factor about this current 80's nonsense going on is that first time round we had The Stone Roses pull us out of it, lets hope theres someone just around the corner......

Friendly Fires were bloody good though!!!
