I want to compile a list of the best small (150-300 capacity) venues in the land.

I'm looking for venues that are cosy and sweaty, but with a NICE HIGH STAGE where all the audience can see the action. As a punter I HATE not being able to see the band, or just there heads if I'm in the middle of a floor watching a band on a 1 foot stage.

Venues that feel like you're really watching an event an an interesting environment.

I LOVE old tiny theater venues, but not many of them exist anymore.
