Music Social More…

All stages should be a foot higher.

I keep thinking this. I'm 6'2" and I often go to gigs where I can't see much beyond the head and shoulders of the people in the bands so I pity the smaller members of the audience.

So many venues have issues with people being able to see. The Luminaire could do with the stage being maybe 6" higher just to give the smaller people a chance to see more.

Am I alone in thinking this? Okay, so those RIGHT AT THE FRONT might get a slight neck crick but I think that's a price worth paying. At The Scala you could pretty much rest the white eared elephant on the stage if you're at the front so a bit of height wouldn't go amiss, though that place is good for visuals generally.
