Could you live the rest of your life just listening to Scottish bands? (Spotify Playlist-centric)

A_Gun_Rack [Edit] [Delete] 14:44, 2 June '09

So I'm off to see The Pictish Trail and King Creosote tonight with a friend, and something he said earlier got me starting this Spotify playlist: http://tinyurl.com/mxerpk

He said "I think I could probably listen to Scottish music and never have to listen to anything else..."
Sooo, do you think you could only listen to Scottish bands? There's a lot of genres covered, and some great stuff that's come, and still coming out of Scotland. The few tracks on here are some of my favourites, past and present - except they don't have earlier Camera Obscura albums on Spotify, or any Pictish Trail. But yeah, I'd love for people to add songs by their favourite Scottish bands or artists. Or maybe you hate everything Scottish, and you want to do a playlist for a country who's musical output you can't fault! And yes, that is Dignity by Deacon Blue on the list. Who thought a song about a boat could be so damn catchy!
