We have slightly dipped a foot into world music for really the first time this year at Field Day 09 with Toumani Diabate headlining the village mentality stage...

You dont tend to see a lot of it on dis (I might be wrong?) BUT I was just wondering how that sort of thing went down here? Can anyone recommend any more world type stuff - particularly african? We really like Amidou and Mariam, which is a great album..

Either way, hopefully its a great set and a nice end to the day - but im sure its going to be hard to pull a lot of people away from Mogwai belting it out!
