Jaga Jazzist (Ninja Tune/Smalltown Supersound) alumni help former guitarist with new solo project: Black Feather.

Black Feather aka Harald Frøland, ex-Jaga Jazzist lead guitarist, will release his debut album Silhouette in fall ‘09. Silhouette has been a difficult album to release. After nearly two years of postponements from melted hard drives, label bankruptcies (V2) and territory license negotiations, the album found a home with Portland, OR label Other Electricities. Contributions from former and current Jaga-mates and other prominent players from Oslo’s electronic, jazz and experimental scenes lend to Silhouette’s heavily orchestrated sounds, intricate percussion and sing-song melodies.
