Quitting The Piracy Habit - Advice pls

fidel_catstro [Edit] [Delete] 14:07, 23 June '09

After something like six years of dedicated torrenting, I've decided to quit my scurvy ways and purge every single moody MP3 from my collection. I reckon this will reduce it to about 1/6th of its original size.

Hereafter I'll use Spotify to find new stuff, and then wait 'til I can afford the records I really like - does anyone know if bands will see more
money from CD or paid-for-download sales?

I'd prefer to have the physical records but if the artist's cut is much better by d/l I'd go with that.

Anyone else quit torrenting lately?
