Is anyone else slightly irritated that some refer to Fugazi as an emo band?
I mean sure they are emotional and I would equate a million other things to the band, but emo? I've never thought of Fugazi as a bunch of whiny white middle class american 'burb kids.
If we have to pigeon-hole I always thought they were post-hardcore. As in hardcore bands that incorporated other styles into their original sound. bit like post-punk after the seventies i guess.
any thoughts?
