I am putting on this weekender :

...in London on August 8th and 9th, and the wonderful Sunset Cinema Club have pulled out of appearing as Minutemen as they have sadly effectively split up.

So I need to confirm a band pretty much NOW who fill the following criteria :

- Really good, or reasonably good band that at least a few people like / would come and watch, preferably from the London area, or able to bring enough people in to justify their travel costs.

- Sound similar or reasonably similar in style to Minutemen, and would be able to do at least two of their songs justice.

- Could play on August 8th or 9th.

Please suggest away as I am all out of ideas, I've pretty much exhausted all remaining bands that I know or like, everyone appears to be tied up at this short notice.
