Gig review adjectives - "intense"?

PetsInHeaven [Edit] [Delete] 13:30, 19 July '09

Hi guys

When it comes to reviewing a gig - whether it be a friend's band you've come to see, a journalist's report etc - is "intense" a positive adjective? Just wanted opinions cos i don't know myself...Maybe its a sunday morning blues thing, but i'm starting to think, could intense acually just be a slippery codeword for "bit bollox"? Selfish Cunt are an intense band aren't they.

This isn't a jag thing just a genuine enquiry. When you went to a see a gig and someone asked you how it was, and you said it was intense, what did you actually mean?

Thanks alot. Going for a fryup but looking forward to reading any thoughts later. Probably should have written into Just 17 instead of here. Ah well
