Music Social More…

A subjective question on music...

raoul_duke11 [Edit] [Delete] 20:19, 5 August '09

How many times do you listen to an album until you think you can form a fair and valid opinion of its quality?
My brother says a minimum of 20 times but sometimes i think 5 or 6 can be enough to know whether or not you will enjoy it.
But then there those albums that you almost instantly know where they are going and repeated listens wont be rewarded but also those albums that burn slowly and sometimes only click after 12 or more listens... slightly confusin, would be grateful to hear peoples thoughts..
Also,on same subject, I wonder how many times reviewers listen to certain albums before writing a review
