Does anyone else find it really hard to select a new toothbrush?

Lucien [Edit] [Delete] 13:37, 21 August '09

In general terms I’m pretty decisive but every three months I find myself in an unbreakable ritual – slinking into Boots and spending an age trying to choose a new toothbrush. Every time I say to myself, ‘Not this time, rube. In, out, and put the kettle on!’ but I can’t help myself. So I end up standing enchanted in front of the toothbrush section slowly inspecting every last one, assessing colour, shape, new claims of dental technology.....

Sped up on CCTV you would, I imagine, see people scurrying around in a blur of motion, the hands on the clock in the background whirring round, and the position of the sun slowly changing as a single motionless figure stood ruminating in front of the display stand.

The thing is I couldn’t even tell you what my current toothbrush even looks like if somebody asked me – I doubt I even know what COLOUR it is, so the type I eventually buy has no impact on my life whatsoever.

Does anyone else do this? Please say yes
