Anyone planning on going to Beachdown Festival this weekend, I have just been told from an official source that it has been cancelled.

Apparently there was a rumour yesterday it had been cancelled, but then the organisers told everyone it wasn't cancelled earlier today, but then about half an hour ago the guy that booked my band emailed to say it had definitely been cancelled.

Very confusing situation, especially as there has been no official announcement, even though it has seemingly been cancelled for a few hours now and the festival put day tickets on sale earlier today then quashed the cancellation rumours later on. Weird.

Anyway, I'm sure this will all be announced properly tomorrow, just thought I'd give anyone who was meant to be going a heads up as it is such short notice.

Sucks - I was really looking forward to playing, and watching the other bands :-(
