Kings of Leon Reading Performance/Disaster

navajo [Edit] [Delete] 13:39, 29 August '09

Anyone else heard about this? I was enjoying them on BBC3 and was really surprised when it was cut towards the end because the band were unhappy with the performance. I then spoke to a friend who was there who said the band had started getting upset, cussing the audience, bickering amongst each other and ending without warning by smashing all their stuff. NME.com's report merely stated that they headlined and what songs they played... obviously not wanting to highlight one of their darlings having a bit of a meltdown. The Sun, surprisingly, seems a more trustworthy and accurate source of information...

Feel bad for them a bit because they sounded good on TV and further back in the crowd apparently, but those at the front couldn't hear and so the KOL thought they were receiving a massive lack of Reading love.
