God. I adore this record. Why can't the bastards just re-issue it? I want it on vinyl but I don't want to pay £400 for the privilege.

It is my favourite kind of Whitehouse; quietly fucked up. Kinda quiet for them anyhow. You can tell from the first track it's going to be challenging, but there are those un-nerving gaps of silence between the tracks. The second track starts with some historical recording of naziporn (I guess its Hitler) followed by Bennett on vocals screaming away, but what I love about this record that comes to the fore on this track is the sub-bass tones. Gorgeous. Terrifying. But gorgeous. And then silence again. And then the bass tones again...and then silence again... and then the bass tones again.

I think this post may sink to the bottom of the page sometime early tomorrow afternoon without a single reply and then disappear into the aether forever.
