Now lets kick this off, I have a lot of love for this band. Saw them back in the day, and their last two albums Deja Entendu and The Devil&God..in particular have been absolute crackers. Also, their Manchester Apoloo show in 2007 was just brilliant. But I saw them at the Manchester Academy in April and was a bit concerned by the new stuff and again at Leeds festival they were not too good. I've had Daisy for a week or two now and no matter how hard I try it just sounds awful. Sounds like something Inme might write. I know Vin the guitarist apparently wrote a lot of the tunes on this new album, and it shows, they are awful "Every nighy my head feels like lead, I dont want to go to bed". A thoroughly disappointing album with no hooks, catchs, good interesting heavy bits or interesting lyrics. Very poor.
