What album led you to where you are now musically?

Mr_Mills [Edit] [Delete] 23:56, 28 September '09

This sort of stuff should generally get some good stories.

The Offspring - Americana

1998, still a young teenager, heard the "Pretty Fly" single, liked it bought the album. Introduced me to heavier music, through pop-punk then nu-metal (I was 13/ 14 at the time, what do you expect?).

Soon began to look out for other stuff and a burgeoning collection started. Began to go more mental when I went to my first gig at at 16 (also The Offspring as it happens) started to go to an ungodly amount of local gigs and bands on the toilet circuit. Also the local rock club had an epic-ly good dj, from these gigs and him I heard Hundred Reasons, Biffy Clyro, Refused, ended up seeing Dillinger Escape Plan in a support slot.

That is my condensed road to being a big music fan, whats yours?
