Obviously a lot of people have a lot of different opinions on this, and p4k don't cover as wide a spectrum of heavier music as they perhaps should - a lot of their foray outside indie/rock seems to dwell on tape reel/loop as a bona fide sign of genius and, intrinsically, some bogus reflection on 9/11 but whatever - but I'm sure people will have spotted some albums that weren't so much their personal favourites as actual benchmarks of the decade (in either merit of strength or as a landmark for a particular movement/genre) that didn't make it in.

So honestly, what do think they missed out?

I think Antics is a very strong record and should've definitely wormed its way in there somewhere, The Futureheads' debut was a storming tour de force (if somewhat uneven) and to my memory there was no Speakerboxxx/The Love Below which I view as an absolute farce as, although scattershot, it distils so many styles and influences into two discs of pure brilliance, as well as boasting some of the greatest standalone tracks we've seen in the past ten years.
