Has anyone got any tips on ways to get into gigs for free? There are loads of good gigs on near me at the moment but I'm so broke it's untrue.

I'd imagine posing as a journalist or a photographer is always a good shout? Do people contact the venue beforehand and blag it, or just go down on the night with balls of steel?

And before crucifying me for being a cheapskate, please take into consideration that I've probably payed for hundreds if not thousands of gigs before. This is temporary measure but it kills me to be sat at home wanking, whilst all these great gigs are happening around me.
