sooo i'm on my 2nd listen and i am loving it. i was initially sceptical when i heard about the whole double album thing after at war with the mystics, thinking it would sound kind of forced, but it works really well. it's their most 'out there' release since before the soft bulletin i would say. it's really spacey and droney and trippy, and the production is waay better than their earliest records in my opinion. hooray!!
