A Simple Question About Scottish Bands and English People

justanothersheeldz [Edit] [Delete] 09:32, 13 October '09

Why do you think Snow Patrol, Glasvegas, The Twilight Sad and Frightened Rabbit all sound the same?

Is it the accent? Even when Snow Patrol are Irish?
Is the music? Even when Twilight Sad are Shoegaze and Glasvegas are Oasis pomp?
Is it the fact they are "Scottish" by default?

See... I can't see it, and I wonder if it's just the fact that I am Scottish that I can split them up, or is it just lazy bandwagon jumpers who think it's funny to lump groups together? Help us out, huh?

Och hoots mon, etc.
