singers who can't sing/write lyrics but you love them anyway

fingerchimp [Edit] [Delete] 14:15, 16 October '09

Some fall into one camp, such as Steve Malkmus who'd you have to say has an "interesting" voice by conventional standards, or Nick Drake who can certainly sing but rights very "moon, soon, june" lyrics, and some fall into both camps, such as Thurston Moore who seems to be incapable of any more than murmering and shouting and singing embarrassingly bad lyrics too.

Of course I love them all, being a frontman/person doesn't seem to depend on technical ability but charisma, or in David Gedges case, not even that.

I can think of loads more, singers whose school choir contributions must have tested the love of even the most devoted mothers, who are your favourites?
