Freshly Bought Records

M-I-E [Edit] [Delete] 00:11, 19 October '09

Damn my fingers, ignore the last thread.

Anyway new stuff of the musical variety!
Can't rememebr what I had last bought the last time I did this thread but this week or so has seen me pick up the following records, vinyl unless stated.

Nadja - Touched, probabaly one of my favourites, heavy, thick sludgy doomy drone.
Bohren Und Der Club Of Gore - Mitleid Lady, a new track on a one sided 12" limted edition from Latitudes. Sounds gooood.
Mudhoney - Superfuzz Bigmuff, the original has been rereleased, a real treat to see them at Koko and a lovely couloured vinyl as well.
Sightings - Through The Panama, bought on recommendation from the girlfriend, first play its sounds a great noisy rocky/metally listen, released by Ecstatic Peace.
OM - God is Good, lovely printed and heavy weight card, i really liek the album but the cover is beautiful as well.
Harvey Milk - Live at Supersonic 08 , awesome heavy set from HM
Oneida - Rated 0, great looking and of course sounding 3LP
Six Organs - Luminous Night, one of my favourite records this year.
Jim O'Rourke - The Visitor, nice return to his more guitary based stuff, i.e Bad Timing
Natural Snow Buildings - Shadow Kingdom, sweet 3LP which also comes with 2 CDS and a comic, lovely kind of folky, droney, noisey music.
Racccoo-ooooo-oooon - Raccooo-ooOOo-onn, awesome double LP, think it was the bands last release.
Original Silence - The Second Original Silence, won this from the Wire, a noise-rock super group, Thurston, Mats Gustafasson, Bassist from ZU and many others, good sheeet.
CDs - Sale at Norman Records so I just filled out my catalogue, Melvins's Bullhead and Houdini Live, might be even better than the studio copy, Jandeks Glasgow Sunday, Black Eyes Cough, Astrals Social Clubs ASC album and today Kevin Drumms Imperial Horizon.

In conclusion, two things, Firstly I'm awful at writing up what I've recently bought, Secondly I clearly have a buying problem and need to stop. Not helped by having two more records in the post, Sunn 0)))s vinyl package, its BIG, and Have A Nice Lifes Deathcounsciousness. oh and shit i want Leyland Kirbys 3LPs :(.

ANYWAY What have you bought recently?
