I gave this a listen expecting a mere novelty and was blown away. It's sort of like a mixture between ELO and Sunny Day Real Estate. Feel Good Together is no passing curiosity, it's a masterfully crafted art-prog-pop record, full of drummers unafraid to harmonize or bust out a sick guitar solo. Having gone into this with no expectations, I may have come out with one of my favorite records of the year. (for those unaware, Drummer is the side project of drummers from bands in the Akron, Ohio area, including Black Keys drummer Pat Carney on bass).
