Having had a quick peek at BBC Sound of 2010 board, sean made the point that...

"I think next year will be all about 2nd/3rd album acts but am not sure the media is ready to change from picking utterly unknown acts to realising that a tipped act should be someone of a decent quality, rather than someone who happened to be PR'd at the right time and are essentially a "hot band in nov - jan" who essentially might be lucky enough to get into the self-fulfilling prophecy trap."
