If you like music to sparkle and strike you down with wonder then...

Louise Le May's debut mini-album ("Tell me one thing that is new") finally gets it's full release on Monday. It is hard to say what is so magical about this record: Louise's voice (think Liz Frazer, Kate Bush)and the way it sometimes whispers and then soars; the melodies and counter-melodies; Louis Philippe's arrangements; the inventive piano and double bass... One thing is sure though. Louise Le May's music is the most startling and extra-ordinary I have heard in a long, long time. I believe it is also available on Spotify if anyone wants to listen for free.
