BO NINGEN + DRUM EYES // 26TH NOVEMBER // LEEDS

Safe-As-Milk [Edit] [Delete] 01:24, 13 November '09

Safe-As-Milk.co.uk presents.........

BO NINGEN - http://www.myspace.com/boningen

Bo Ningen have been making a name for themselves for being the best new bands in London. With an amazing debut E.P and incredible live performances to match, this Japanese quartet are really a band you must see live.

Their much anticipated second E.P is due to be released on 7th December.

What other people say about them:

"Bo Ningen's E.P is a loud, glorious serving of Japanese progressive-punk that threatens to blow your head off with its raging twists and sweeping turns. It's like having your brain massaged from the inside - it makes your nerves stand on end but also soothingly fucked up " - Samu.co.uk

"...one of the storming triumphs of the festival - Japanese noise-rockers Bo Ningen. With curtains of hair swinging, they bit their guitars, climbed the tent mast and produced a sound somewhere between wolves and Nintendos....Best discovery." - The Observer (Festival Watch, Offset 2009)

DRUM EYES (featuring DJ Scotch Egg) - http://www.myspace.com/drumeyes

Drum Eyes are a Japanese/British combo featuring DJ Scotch Egg, Ex-Bordems and Trencher members. Who play a hypnotic maelstrom of tribal drumming trippy space rock infused with sludgy geetar and weird electronics, almost krautrock meets weirdpunk synth ideas. If you haven't seen them before a must band to check out.

What other people say about them:

"Drum Eyes, featuring DJ Scotch Egg and friends, is an intense and highly rewarding experience and one of the most interesting sets of the day." - musicomh.com (Offset Festival 2008 review)
